Intake Coordinator
About The Position
We are now hiring an Intake Coordinator at Sea Grove Recovery, a new facility opening in 2025! Located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Sea Grove Recovery will provide substance use treatment for adults, as well as dual diagnosis treatment for adults with a co-occurring mental health disorder. The 41-bed facility is in a serene, wooded environment and is designed to maximize healing and meet the needs of every patient who attends treatment. Sea Grove offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that takes place for most of the day throughout the week with PHP lodging available. The program allows for those in our care to receive treatments and therapies throughout the day in an environment conducive to healing and a treatment plan built around their individual needs. In addition to the substance use program, Sea Grove Recovery is equipped to provide treatment to those with a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder. Visit us online at: https://seagroverecovery.com/ The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the assessment and admission of patients, and the screening of potential clients for the appropriate care. This position interfaces with the centralized Admissions Center, verifies insurance information, completes prior authorizations, and maintains complete intake files. The Intake Coordinator also explains the evaluation and admission process to potential patients and referral sources.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Peer counselor eligibility preferred
