About The Position

The Insurance Sales Representative is responsible primarily for selling nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers. The role focuses on achieving sales production goals, building relationships with customers, advising them on products that fit their needs, and accurately handling currency transactions and bank deposits. The position offers an hourly pay range of $15–$18 and an opportunity for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. Training, licensing, and ongoing mentorship are provided.

Requirements

Sales or customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
Excellent follow-up and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ambition and motivation to pursue advancement opportunities.

Nice To Haves

Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license (preferred, but not required).
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
Build relationships with existing customers to expand business and meet production goals.
Accurately account for currency transactions and deliver deposits to the bank promptly, with scanned documentation in the agency management system.
Build client relationships quickly and educate and advise customers on products that best fit their needs.
