About The Position
Hickman Agency is hiring a remote, commission-based Insurance Sales Advisor to help individuals and families choose life and health insurance and other financial products. The role involves understanding clients’ needs, explaining policy options, and recommending personalized coverage, including Indexed Universal Life (IUL) policies, annuities, and term, whole life, and universal life insurance. Advisors work with pre-qualified leads and conduct virtual consultations by Zoom or phone. The position is described as offering flexible scheduling, with full-time or part-time work available, and requires US residency. The agency provides online training, one-on-one mentorship, and ongoing coaching. It is a 1099 independent contractor position with uncapped commissions; earnings are commission-based and results vary.

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients and provide guidance to help them secure their financial future.
- Conduct professional virtual consultations and presentations by Zoom or phone.
- Sell financial products, including IUL policies, annuities, and term, whole life, and universal life insurance.
- Connect with pre-qualified leads to offer customized financial solutions; no cold calling is required.
- Educate clients about life and health insurance options, including policy features, costs, and benefits.
- Conduct needs assessments, identify coverage gaps, and recommend suitable insurance products.
- Review existing policies to ensure they continue to align with client objectives.
- Assist clients with claims and provide ongoing policy servicing.
- Meet personal sales targets and contribute to team-wide goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions.
