About The Position

Brown & Brown is seeking an Insurance Producer to develop new business, build relationships with business owners and decision-makers, and grow a book of business. The role is open to candidates at various career stages, including experienced insurance producers, B2B sales professionals transitioning into insurance, and early-career sales professionals. The team supports talent development through mentorship, training, hands-on coaching, and industry-leading resources. Producers collaborate with service teams to deliver client experiences and participate in ongoing sales training and professional development.

Nice To Haves

• Proven sales experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience as an insurance producer, BDR, SDR, business development professional, or other B2B sales professional is relevant to the role.
• Commercial P&C or Employee Benefits experience.
• Established producers looking to continue growing their book of business.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Prospect, network, and generate leads through referrals, community involvement, and business development activities.
• Identify client needs and provide Commercial Property & Casualty and/or Employee Benefits solutions.
• Build and grow a book of business.
• Collaborate with service teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Participate in sales training, coaching, and ongoing professional development.
