About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products designed for educators. The role offers performance-based compensation under a 1099 arrangement, including enhanced commissions and incentives during the first 36 months, as well as opportunities to build a business using established books of business, value-added services, and a multi-line product portfolio. The position involves educating prospective clients, building relationships and a client base, participating in community and networking events, and investing time and resources in the growth of the producer’s business. Work may be in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides guidance and accountability.

Requirements

Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
