About The Position
Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice in the Houston, Texas office. The practice interprets contracts and represents insurers in complex coverage claims, including monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. The firm represents primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies, across virtually every line of business.
Requirements
- Eight to fifteen years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first-party property and general liability matters.
- Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Admission to the Texas Bar.
