About The Position

At Utz Brands, we’re looking for a detail-driven and analytical Fleet Insurance & Compliance Administrator to join our team in Hanover, PA. In this role, you’ll take ownership of key fleet compliance and risk management programs, ensuring alignment with DOT regulations and company policies while driving continuous improvement. You’ll act as a trusted partner across the business, analyzing data, managing claims, and identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve operations. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business, risk management, transportation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet, transportation, safety, insurance, OR compliance programs
  • Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and claims administration processes is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards)
  • Ability to interpret regulations, exercise independent judgment, and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • High level of discretion and attention to detail in handling sensitive information
  • Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional after-hours communication

Responsibilities

  • Lead fleet accident intake, documentation, and claim coordination from start to finish
  • Manage first-party auto physical damage claims, working with vendors, adjusters, and internal teams
  • Own and maintain fleet accident and compliance databases, ensuring data accuracy and reporting insights
  • Administer DOT compliance programs, including certifications, inspections, and documentation tracking
  • Provide guidance to drivers and leadership on compliance requirements and risk-related decisions
  • Coordinate safety meetings, inspections, and medical certifications to maintain compliance standards
  • Analyze trends in incidents and compliance data to recommend improvements and corrective actions
  • Monitor driver qualifications, licenses, and training to identify and mitigate risk
  • Support fleet operations through invoice review, budget tracking, and vehicle lifecycle coordination
  • Serve as a key point of contact during incidents or emergencies, ensuring proper response and escalation
  • Maintain flexibility to support occasional after-hours calls or urgent situations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
