About The Position
The Tyler Johnson Agency, partnered with Farmers Insurance, is searching for energetic individuals ready to learn and grow as Insurance Apprentices. As an Insurance Apprentice, you’ll help shape the future of our agency by providing personalized insurance solutions, building client relationships, and supporting a team-focused environment. We’re seeking outgoing people with a drive for success, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to helping others plan for their financial security. This opportunity is ideal for those who are new to insurance or have a record of success in sales or achieving ambitious goals.
Requirements
- 1 year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls and closing business
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license is preferred or a willingness to obtain one
- Bilingual abilities are valued
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Recommend and sell a range of insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring they have the best coverage
- Aim to exceed sales goals for personal and agency growth
- Stay informed on insurance products and industry updates
- Use CRM tools for lead management, follow-ups, and renewals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for agency growth
