About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Carson City, Nevada. The agent helps educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security while building and managing an agency. The role focuses on developing market access, cultivating client and community relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and growing a business over the long term. A dedicated Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on building the business. No external office is required, although Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
