About The Position

L&R is hiring a Retail Merchandiser to service assigned retail stores in Carson City, Reno, Gardenville, Dayton, Lake Tahoe, and Zephyrs Cove, Nevada. The role ensures products are stocked, organized, and displayed properly and supports store resets by implementing planograms, relocating products, setting shelves, and ensuring displays meet company and retailer standards. The position offers up to 28 hours per week, with service hours between 6 AM and 5 PM; service until 8 PM requires authorization. The stated pay rate is $21.00 per hour, with mileage and toll reimbursement and paid drive time included in hours worked. The posting describes the role as part-time to full-time, with an opportunity to transition to full-time after 60 days if consistent weekly hours of 30 or more are met.

Requirements

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access elevated fixtures, signage, and products.
• Ability to perform physical work, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Registered vehicle.
• Driver’s license.
• Car insurance.
• Motor vehicle report with three or fewer moving violations within the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory according to store ordering guidelines using a company-supplied tablet and scanner with Repsly software.
• Service assigned store routes according to call frequencies and work closely with the District Manager.
• Follow the store visit process, including merchandising deliveries from previous orders, completing task forms, taking photographs, ordering to maintain stock levels, and completing other requested projects.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays, fixtures, and sections according to provided instructions.
• Complete resets to L&R standards and project timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures to match planogram specifications.
• Process customer returns related to resets according to L&R returns and reclamation guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies for invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate with store associates during each store visit and maintain professional communication with store management and associates.
• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt and check-in by authorized store personnel.
• Clean and organize display cases and shelves.
• Conduct requested store surveys and audits, including taking photographs of assigned departments to help resolve store issues.
• Service additional stores as business needs require.
