About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Medina, Ohio, to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop client and community relationships, present insurance products to groups and individuals, and invest time and resources in the long-term success of the business. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation and an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, including activity- and success-based earning incentives and quarterly production incentives. Agents receive a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident State Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident State Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
