About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Pueblo, Colorado. The agent builds and manages an insurance business serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking, community, and industry events. A dedicated Premier Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on growing the business. Horace Mann provides technology, ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based and paid on a 1099 basis, with incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong business management skills.
Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
