About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Spokane Valley, Washington. The agent builds and manages an insurance agency serving educators, helping clients find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The position offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months. A dedicated Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on growing the business. The role includes an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong business management skills.
Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
