About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop relationships and market access, present insurance and financial products, and grow a business in an exclusive territory. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, incentives during the first 48 months, a dedicated Service Representative, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
