About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Chesterfield, Missouri. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, identify and implement insurance and financial solutions, develop market access and relationships, and present products to groups and individuals. The role offers a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, market and relationship-building programs, and no requirement for an external office for two years. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity- and success-based incentives and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
