About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Brownsville, Tennessee. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves developing market access and client relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking, community, and industry events. Horace Mann offers a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work, an exclusive territory, training and technology, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years. Compensation is performance-based and paid on a 1099 basis, with an industry-leading incentive package and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
