Insurance Agent
About The Position
Shelter Insurance is seeking an entrepreneurial Insurance Agent to operate an agency in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role is centered on developing prospects, selling Shelter insurance products, building community relationships, and growing an independent business. Previous insurance experience is not required. Shelter offers in-house and virtual new-agent training, continuing industry education, and support to help agents launch their agencies. Agents must meet sales requirements and core business proficiencies; prospective agents are not required to provide capital or assets to be considered. Agents may have the opportunity to hire staff for administrative support and sales growth. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Relocation compensation is not available.
Requirements

- Meet sufficient sales requirements and core business proficiencies.

Nice To Haves
- Previous insurance industry experience (helpful but not required).
- Some sales experience.
- A degree with general business courses.
