About The Position
The Family Security Plan is hiring an Insurance Agent for its Miami team. The role involves meeting credit union members in person to provide insurance solutions, partnering with credit union branch managers, and developing referral and business opportunities throughout Miami-Dade County. The position offers a $50,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, warm leads through established credit union partnerships, incentives, bonuses, profit sharing, and a career growth path. The agent will maintain accurate sales documentation and participate in regular sales meetings and ongoing training. The role is performed in person in Miami and requires local travel to credit union branches and worksites.
Requirements
- An active Florida 2-15 Life, Health & Variable Annuity license is strongly preferred; candidates actively pursuing a license may also be considered.
- Proven sales success; insurance experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Miami and travel locally to credit union branches and worksites throughout Miami-Dade County.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.
- A professional, ethical, customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities
- Meet credit union members in person and offer insurance solutions suited to their needs.
- Partner with credit union branch managers to maximize opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong referral networks.
- Generate new SEG/business opportunities.
- Close sales efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate reporting, applications, and documentation.
- Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings and ongoing training.
