About The Position

Shelter Insurance is seeking an entrepreneurial agent to operate an agency in Centralia, Missouri. The agent’s primary focus is developing prospects and selling Shelter products while building a business and serving the community. Agents may have the opportunity to hire staff to assist with general administrative duties and sales. Shelter provides new-agent training, continuing industry education, and business support. The company does not require prior insurance experience or capital/assets to be considered. Agents must meet sufficient sales requirements and core business proficiencies. If an agent leaves, financial responsibilities are limited to any unpaid bills incurred through departure, such as advertising contracts, telephone bills, and utilities. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. No relocation compensation is provided.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous insurance-industry experience is helpful but not required.
