About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Agent in Camden, North Carolina. The agent builds an agency and provides tailored insurance and financial solutions to educators, helping address their financial challenges. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting information to prospective customers, and participating in networking, community, sales, and industry events. The agent works directly with the Regional Field Leader (Agency Consultant). The position offers performance-based 1099 compensation, a 48-month incentive package, a dedicated Premier Service Representative for client service work, technology and continued training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. There is no external office requirement.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• Possess or be ready to obtain resident-state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License, and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses if applicable in certain regions.

Nice To Haves

• Two to four years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
• Experience in teaching, sales, management, insurance, finance, or business ownership may suit this opportunity.
