About The Position
Bank Midwest is seeking an Insurance Agent Aspirant for our Spirit Lake, Iowa market. An Aspirant is an agent-in-training who aspires to grow into an Agent. The primary responsibility of this position will be to learn the insurance business and begin to sell insurance products to commercial customers in the region. The successful candidate will be an eager, driven and coachable sales professional who demonstrates desire and commitment to learn the business and produce for a growing agency.
Requirements
- Prior success working in a sales role
- Demonstrate the ability to learn the insurance business
- Demonstrate the ability to call, meet, qualify and close business owners who are resistant to change, and may have difficulty undoing current relationships
- Must be motivated from within
- Ability to overcome fierce competition and price objections
