About The Position

Shelter Insurance is seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in Bridgeton, MO. This role is ideal for individuals who desire to meet new people, develop contacts, serve their community, grow their sales and business skills, control their own income, and start their own business with minimal start-up costs. Shelter does not require prior insurance industry experience; backgrounds can range from real estate and retail sales to education and coaching. A motivated attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and effective communication skills are required. While sales experience and a business degree are helpful, comprehensive training is provided. Shelter does not require agents to have capital on hand to be considered for an agency, nor do they sell or loan money to agents. The primary focus will be developing prospects and selling Shelter products, with the potential to hire staff for administrative and sales support. This is an opportunity to operate your own Shelter Insurance Agency with significant support, including unlimited new commissions, bonus and incentive opportunities, professional sales training, and technology support.
