About The Position

Own and operate an independent Allstate agency, building a successful small business that provides insurance protection to customers in the local community. The owner sells Allstate products and services, develops customer trust, and leads a team. Allstate provides education, marketing support, and incentives to help grow the business. Agency owners may earn repeat revenue from policy renewals and may pass the business on or sell it to an approved purchaser. This is an in-office, independent-contractor business ownership opportunity, not employment with Allstate or a franchise opportunity. The owner must invest liquid capital to cover startup and operating costs, which remain under the owner's control.

Requirements

Obtain all applicable state licenses for property and casualty and life and health insurance before appointment with Allstate.
Invest liquid capital in the business to cover startup costs and operating expenses.
Be a confident self-starter with a positive, self-motivated attitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior business or franchise ownership is preferred, but not required.
Previous insurance experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience in day-to-day operations, budgeting, planning, and staffing strategies, or experience in business or sales management.
