About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is offering an Early Career Insurance Account Manager Training Program designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills for the customer service side of the insurance industry. MMA offers business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions, combining local service with global resources. As an Account Manager Trainee on the AMPD team, participants will learn essential workflows and best practices. The training covers routing policy documents and client notices, developing a working knowledge of insurance carrier websites, following up with carriers on policy changes and cancellations, reviewing renewal policies and endorsements for quality assurance, obtaining loss history, and issuing insurance certificates. The program also includes professional development training.

Requirements

  • College degree or some combination of education and comparable work experience preferred.
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Energy to carry out assignments via computer work.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Desire to follow procedure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Discipline to stay on-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate computer skills including Word, Outlook & Excel.
  • Currently hold, or be able to obtain with 90 days, a Florida 4-40 license and/or 2-20 license.
