About The Position

Expert Insulation of Minnesota LLC is hiring an experienced fiberglass and spray foam insulation installer for full-time work. The installer works with a small crew to install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces. Work may begin at the shop or directly at a jobsite, and involves loading materials, completing safety checks, and working until the job is finished. Jobsite and seasonal conditions vary, with safety procedures and appropriate equipment provided. Opportunities are available to take on more responsibility and grow within the company.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Comfort using hand tools.
Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
Ability to work in confined spaces, crawl, reach overhead, and use hand and power tools with manual dexterity.
Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, while following safety standards.
A valid driver's license is required for tasks involving transportation of equipment or travel between sites; assignments involving company vehicle operation also require an acceptable motor vehicle report.

Construction or installation experience; training is available for the right person.

Responsibilities

Load and track materials on trucks.
Set up ladders or scaffolding.
Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
Staple, glue, nail, or wire insulation, or operate equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation.
Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean.
Follow all jobsite safety procedures.
