About The Position

The Insulation Installer works as part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman to install insulation at job sites. The day may begin at the shop or directly at the jobsite, where the crew loads materials, performs a safety check, and completes installation work in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces. Work conditions vary by job site and season and may include heat, cold, dust, tight spaces, and heights. Training, appropriate equipment, and safety procedures are provided. The role involves active physical work, and reasonable accommodations can be made where required. The position offers steady work and opportunities to take on more responsibility.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort using hand tools.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report are required if job duties include operating a company vehicle.
• A valid driver's license is required for tasks involving transportation of equipment or travel between sites.

Nice To Haves

• Insulation installation experience is preferred.
• Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and track materials on trucks.
• Set up ladders or scaffolding.
• Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Staple, glue, nail, or wire insulation, or operate equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation.
• Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean.
• Follow all job-site safety procedures.
