About The Position

The Instrument Technician supports surgical procedures by reprocessing surgical instruments to ensure they meet healthcare standards and are safe for use. The position requires hands-on experience in the maintenance and sterilization of surgical instruments. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, for a 13-week assignment. Employees are required to work two major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day—and one minor holiday—the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. The facility provides dark blue scrubs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred certifications include HSPA, CRCST, or CSPDT.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess surgical instruments according to established standards and protocols.
• Ensure all instruments are properly sanitized and prepared for surgical use.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow in the instrument processing area.
