About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work in the respiratory unit and contribute to high-quality patient care. The role requires NICU experience. The facility is currently a Level 2 NICU and plans to expand to a Level 3 NICU later this year. It is not a trauma facility but has a busy Emergency Department. This is an opportunity to develop skills in a nurturing environment.

The respiratory unit has 411 beds and 28 staff members. The therapist may provide coverage in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit and perform floor therapy. The ideal candidate is reliable and outgoing and works cooperatively within a team environment.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NICU experience is required by the position description.
• Reliable, outgoing, and able to work cooperatively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the provision of high-quality patient care in the respiratory unit.
• Provide Emergency Department coverage.
• Provide Intensive Care Unit coverage.
• Perform floor therapy.
