About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technician supports the surgical team by preparing the operating room and assisting during surgical procedures. The role includes setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions; passing instruments and supplies; managing equipment; and maintaining a sterile operating room environment. The operating room has six surgical suites and a 1:1 ratio of surgical technologists to surgeons. Scrubs are provided, and the facility uses the Cerner electronic medical record system. The position has daytime shifts, requires call duty, and includes rotating weekdays off. Time off is restricted during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the maximum allowable time off is two weeks. Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• At least three years of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Experience in surgical technology involving orthopedic, general, spine, vascular, urology, and obstetric procedures.
• Proficiency with DaVinci, Mako, and Globus robotic surgical systems.
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Nice To Haves

• CRST certification is preferred.

Responsibilities
