About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to support surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment. The role is located within a 100-mile radius. Evening shifts run from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and weekend, call, and holiday availability is required. Candidates must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in for shifts.

Requirements

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in orthopedic surgery and robotic surgical systems, specifically Da Vinci.
• Completion of a recognized Certified Surgical Tech program.
• Knowledge of equipment cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection protocols.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must have prior travel experience.
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform routine and delegated tasks according to hospital standards and policies.
• Maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure the functionality of surgical equipment.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures with precision and efficiency.
• May precept new staff as needed.
