About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for the Psychology of Work course (LABR 3P94) for the Winter D3 term, effective September 1, 2026. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The compensation is $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) or $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and academic dishonesty cases, in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement.

Requirements

  • PhD in LABR or related discipline (senior doctoral candidates will be considered if no qualified applicants exist)
  • Experience in teaching quantitative research methods
  • Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of Psychology of Work
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations)
