About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course Children and Youth at Work. The compensation for the position is $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) and $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally), effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture, or equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement and include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration.

Requirements

  • PhD in LABR or related discipline. If there are no qualified applicants, senior doctoral candidates will be considered.
  • Experience in teaching quantitative research methods.
  • Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of (discipline)
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
