About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course Work, Equity and Diversity. The compensation for this position is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) or $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture, or equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Requirements

• PhD in LABR or related discipline. If there are no qualified applicants, senior doctoral candidates will be considered.
• Experience in teaching quantitative research methods.
• Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of (discipline).
• Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).

Responsibilities

• Scheduled contact time with students
• Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
