About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for PSYC 4P15 Close Relationships for the Fall 2026 academic term. This position involves teaching undergraduate courses in relationships, focusing on the theory and research underlying personal relationships. The instructor will be responsible for holding office hours, supervising Teaching Assistants, and interacting with students. The nominal workload for a half-credit course is 195 hours, and for a full-credit course is 390 hours. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are also responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses in relationships at the university level.
  • An advanced graduate level degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or ABD) in psychology.
  • Availability through regular office hours and appointments for TA supervision and contact with students.
