About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for PSYC 3P28, Introduction to Abnormal Psychology, for the Fall 2026 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and involves teaching an Asynchronous Online (AO) course. The nominal workload is 195 hours per half-credit course, with compensation effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses in lifespan development in an academic setting.
  • Specifically, development in physical, perceptual, cognitive, linguistic, social and/or emotional domains.
  • An advanced graduate level degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or ABD) in psychology is a requirement.
  • Must be available through regular office hours and appointments for supervision and contact with students.
