About The Position

Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for MBAB 5P24 Business Law, which will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for this role is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) and $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties and responsibilities align with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement, including scheduled contact time with students, lecture preparation, student consultation, marking and grading, course administration, grade appeals, and handling cases of academic dishonesty.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor of Laws degree
• Several years of practitioner experience
• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
