About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for PSYC 4P30 Positive Psychology for the Fall 2026 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The nominal workload for a half-credit course is 195 hours, with compensation effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab. Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses in positive psychology at the university level.
  • An advanced graduate level degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or ABD) in psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in positive psychology at the university level.
  • Cover theory and research pertaining to positive experiences, characteristics, and institutions.
  • Be available through regular office hours and appointments for TA supervision and contact with students.
