About The Position

The Instructor Recruiting/Database Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all aspects of Ski School instructor correspondence, individual instructor data/statistics, and recruiting. This role oversees similar functions for Skier Services summer operations as well. Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. Requirements

  • Experience with all Microsoft 365 applications
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Background in HR systems preferred
  • Experience in recruiting and hiring preferred
  • Familiarity with Deer Valley Ski School systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the recruiting manager with all administrative aspects of the recruitment process
  • Maintain all job postings, coordinating with the HR and marketing teams as needed
  • Act as the main point of contact for all ski instructor applications
  • Interview applicants and perform reference checks
  • Manage the job offer process for all new hires
  • Ensure accurate updates are made to all returning job offers, including pay rate and job status changes
  • Manage employee housing applications and allotments for the Skier Services division
  • Maintain past and present instructor personnel files, including updating pay rates and certifications
  • Continuously update instructor placement within ski school scheduling systems
  • Act as the point of contact for all Skier Services and guest injuries in both winter and summer operations
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all guest injuries that occur during ski school lessons
  • Document and work closely with the HR worker’s comp team for all instructor injuries
  • Responsible for follow-up communication and schedule adjustments for injured instructors
  • Assist the ski school scheduling team with pre-season updates for new and returning instructors
  • Provide support for ski school on-snow supervisor teams
  • Other duties as assigned
