About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for PSYC 3P77 Social Development for the Winter 2027 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The course will be delivered asynchronously online (AO). The nominal workload for a half-credit course is 195 hours, and for a full-credit course is 390 hours. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab. Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. The instructor must be available for regular office hours and appointments for student supervision and contact. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses in the psychology of children’s social development in an academic setting.
• Specifically, the theories and research pertaining to social development including social competence, aggression, friendship and other topics in social development from a variety of developmental perspectives.
• An advanced graduate level degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or ABD) in psychology is a requirement.
