About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for PSYC 3P60 Children's Thinking for the Winter 2027 term. This position involves teaching undergraduate courses in the psychology of children's thinking, covering theories and research on cognitive development, including perception, language, memory, problem-solving, reading, and social cognition. The instructor will be responsible for holding regular office hours and appointments for student supervision and contact. The mode of delivery for this course will be Asynchronous Online (AO).

Requirements

  • An advanced graduate level degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or ABD) in psychology is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses in the psychology of children’s thinking in an academic setting.
  • Specifically, the theories and research pertaining to cognitive development including the development of perception, language, memory, problem solving, reading and social cognition.
  • The instructor must be available through regular office hours and appointments for supervision and contact with students.
