About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for Physical Education for FY 2027. This position is part of a recruitment effort to build a candidate pool for potential part-time instructor roles. The instructor will be responsible for teaching various physical education courses designed to develop athletes for intercollegiate competition. Course assignments may span multiple campuses and include day or evening classes, delivered in person. The role involves developing lesson plans, syllabi, and course materials in collaboration with the Program Director, evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies, providing excellent teaching experiences, student advisement, recruitment activities, and contributing to program/curriculum development.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited institution in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, bachelor’s degree in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; or, possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to the above.
