Part - Time Instructor, Construction - FY 2027
About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for Construction Management and/or Construction Technology courses. This role involves delivering both lecture and lab instruction, evaluating student mastery of skills, and providing student advisement. There may also be opportunities for program and curriculum development. The instructor will be expected to attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested. CSN is Nevada's largest college and one of the largest in the nation, operating in over 50 locations with 3 main campuses and multiple sites. As a comprehensive, multi-campus community college, CSN is the largest and most ethnically diverse institution in Nevada, educating over 50,000 students annually. Requirements
- 5 years of Construction Management experience
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Construction Management
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
Responsibilities
- Lecture and Lab instruction for Construction Management, and or Construction Technology courses
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- Provide advisement to students
- Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
Benefits
- Salary: $925.00 per lecture credit hour.
