About The Position
The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a part-time Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Technology Instructor for Fiscal Year 2027. This role involves delivering instruction for CADD courses, developing course materials, and evaluating student progress. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and location, as courses may be taught in-person or online across multiple campuses, during days, evenings, or weekends. CSN is a large, comprehensive, multi-campus community college dedicated to serving the diverse educational needs of southern Nevada.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience using industry standard software but not limited to AutoCAD, Rivet and SolidWorks.
Nice To Haves
- CADD Program (Software) Certification(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Previous experience teaching classes.
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
Responsibilities
- Lecture and or Lab instruction for CADD courses
- Develop syllabi and course materials.
- Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives
- Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
- Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
- Provide advisement to students
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
Benefits
- Salary: $925.00 per credit hour.
