About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for NURS 4P21 Epidemiology in Nursing and Health Care for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) or $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Requirements

  • PhD in Nursing or DNP preferred. If no PhD or DNP applicants, Masters degree in Nursing will be considered.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Experience teaching epidemiology.
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduled contact time with students
  • Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration
  • Handling grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty
