About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course MATH 3P91 Mathematics at the Junior/Intermediate/Senior Level. The compensation for a full course is $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally), effective September 1, 2026. Instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements
- PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline. (In the absence of PhD applicants, applicants with an MSc in Mathematics or Statistics will be considered.)
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in Mathematics.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
