About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for IADM 3P96, Level Design for Games and Immersive Media, an online mixed-mode course running from September to December 2026. This position involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The compensation for this half course is $7,887.59 effective September 1, 2026, with an estimated 195 hours of work. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab.
Requirements
- Hold a university degree
- Industry experience with video game level design and/or game world creation
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness in online course(s) (e.g., through course evaluations and/or academic references)
- Familiarity with the features of an online learning management system
Responsibilities
