About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for IADM 2P06, a course on 3D Objects, Environments and Visualization, for the Fall 2026 term. This is an in-person position with scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom responsibilities including preparation, consultation, marking, grading, and course administration. Requirements
- Must hold a BA in Digital Media or equivalent.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., through course evaluations and/or academic references).
- Evidence of scholarly research and/or applied practice related to 3D modelling using Unity 3D, Vuforia Unity extension, Maya (or Blender).
- Applicants must provide evidence of equivalency if their degree is not a direct BA in Digital Media.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Preparation of lectures
- Student consultation
- Marking and grading
- Course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty
- Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course if employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
