About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for HLSC 2P08 Winter D3. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and focuses on Human Physiology: Cellular Processes/Metabolic Compensation. The role involves scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. Requirements

PhD in a Health-Science related field (or ABD or Master's degree with relevant experience if no PhD applications are received)
Sound knowledge of the fundamental principles of human physiology with emphasis on cellular structure and function, cellular metabolism, muscle, nerve, and endocrine functions
Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience with large class size at the undergraduate university level

Nice To Haves

Experience with online delivery tools (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.) is an asset.

Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course for instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
