About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course Advanced Quantitative Statistics. The compensation for a full course is $15,775.20, with an expected nominal workload of 390 hours. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture course are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

  • PhD in Psychology or related discipline. Doctoral candidates will be considered if there are no qualified applicants.
  • Experience in teaching quantitative research methods and material related to forensic psychology.
  • Recent experience teaching or as a teaching assistant in FPAC 3P15 or equivalent.
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).

Responsibilities

  • Scheduled contact time with students
  • Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
