About The Position

This position provides instruction in Dental Hygiene and advising for students pursuing the Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. The position offers a $4,000 retention bonus, with $2,000 paid each December and $2,000 paid each May.

• Fair, consistent, and timely evaluation of student progress.
• Development, preparation, and/or delivery of curriculum courses.

• Monitoring of the dental climate.
• Performance of quality assurance measures related to clinic protocol and patient care.
• Participation in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for program improvement.
• Participation in program handbook review, evaluation, and revisions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching at a community college.
• Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Responsibilities

• Participates in program handbook review, evaluation, and revisions as necessary.
